Botanica is currently voted Australia's most popular wedding venue and best value for money reception venue. Botanica boasts its own fireworks license, private beach, helicopter pad, Antique Pavillions, outdoor ballrooms, infinity pool, cinema room, smoke house, buggies, charter buses, commercial kitchens and award winning sister venue Villa Raja in Bali Indonesia. Botanica Estate is situated in the heart of the Whitsundays and was originally the site of a 150-acre mango plantation. The site is now direct waterfront beach surrounded by national park reserve. It is so difficult for the general public to access the beach and venue, that Botanica has now been dubbed 'most exclusive wedding venue in Australia.' Botanica is the only venue in Australia catering to wedding bookings exclusively - with a restricted number of weddings per year. Janet and Ralph Hogan are the founders of Botanica Beach, Botanica Estate, Villa Botanica and Villa Raja in Bali. The Australian couple are advertising executives from Sydney and replanted the site, which is now home to Australia's largest succulent garden and privately owned plant collection. Janet and Ralph named the region 'Dugong Bay' and even commissioned their own private gated road to the development site called 'Botanica Drive', which is lined with advanced exotic palm trees. Before its first week of launch; A-List celebrities such as Hugh Jackman requested to use the venue, Along with producers from the Opera Show and the film production of 'Australia'.
